While the kintsugi technique is traditionally reserved for mending broken pieces, I sought to explore the technique and aesthetic by incorporating it as artistic embellishments into ceramics. This candle holder is adorned with a meticulously detailed dragon. Dragons, revered as symbols of good fortune and prosperity, are also believed to ward off negativity and illness from their surroundings.
